A Present For Me!

I did it.  I finally bought one.  My sister will be so proud.  I said I didn't need one.  I really didn't think I wanted one.  It all started when my hubby and I were talking about needing to exercise more.  I told him I have no problem using the treadmill, but its boring.  I would like to do it early in the morning, while everyone is asleep, but I also want something to listen to.  If I use my computer, or a boom box, it will wake everyone up.  My walkman (yes I still have one of those) doesn't work anymore.  Did you know Target still sells walkmans?   So, my sister in law decided to sell this something.  It was a great price, so....I finally broke down and bought an .......ipod.  Well, an iTouch to be exact.  I have finally joined the ranks of the normal people of this world who always have something in their ears, and this little phone like device in their hands.  Sigh.  I really didn't want to do it, but now I have, and I'm excited!  So, here is what I got, an 8 gig iTouch, which will suit my needs perfectly!

Isn't she pretty?  I think I'll call her Bertha. Lois aren't you proud of me?  I FINALLY own an Apple product!

  1. I'm so proud! However, I was thinking that maybe you were going to tell me you were expecting. Sorry--my phone died mid conversation with you. Hope you like it. Wish you would have gotten the iphone though! Now that would have been so super duper awesome!

  2. OOOhhhh, if my girls saw this they would be so jealous! I hope you enjoy it. The best thing about the iTouch is you can get games on it! I totally recommend angry birds and solitaire!

  3. So am I the last dinosaur on this planet? All my family owns one but I don't. It may be because I hate things in my ear. Anyway... congrats on coming into the 21st century. :-)
